Makino Releases T4 Machining Centre
Makino has released its T4 horizontal machining centre. The company says the machine, which is specially designed for the production of large titanium and titanium allow aerospace parts, such as edge frames, pylons and bulkheads, increases titanium milling efficiency.
New Horizontal Machining Centre From MAG
MAG Industrial Automation Systems has released the Specht 500/630 horizontal machining centre. The modular machine offers linear-motor or ballscrew drives, CAT-40 through HSK-100 tool interfaces, six spindle options, four control options and three 5-axis configurations to suit needs ranging from one-off work in job shops to agile machining lines.
Lumiscaphe Updates Patchwork 3D
A new version of Lumiscaphe's Patchwork 3D post modelling software tool for industrial and Windows CAD systems is now available. Patchwork 3D 3.6 allows users to import 3D shapes designed with a traditional CAD system and to test and visualise shape, material and lighting combinations to accelerate the product design phase.
